South Greenland Highlights

If you dream of experiencing Greenland in a way that stays with you in lifetime, this expedition collection is for you.

South Greenland offers a softer and more diverse side of the Arctic, with a milder climate, greener summers, and a longer growing season. Here, dramatic mountain fjords rise above sheep farms, Norse and Inuit ruins, natural geothermal hot springs, and valleys filled with wildflowers and rich vegetation. In early spring, drifting sea ice may even bring polar bears into the region, while summer reveals icebergs framed by colourful flowers, whales, and abundant birdlife.

Unlike the far north, there are no sled dogs here — instead, you experience long bright summer days followed by real darkness at night, allowing for deep rest under canvas while still enjoying sunlight throughout the season.
