TOUR ITINERARY
Boat transfer from Nanortalik
- Scenic boat tour in between majestic mountains of Tasermiut
- Short stop at the bottom of the fjord where you will get close to the enormous glacier
- Our captain will drop us off at the camp site.
Kuussuaq Camp
- Once we get into the camp, you will have a light snack, before doing one of your preferred activities. This could be hiking in the beautiful nature surrounding us and picking up herbs, or perhaps fishing for arctic trout that you will have for dinner.
- In the evening we will have dinner, where you will get the opportunity to taste Greenlandic cuisine.
- Later in the evening, we will entertain you with music and Greenlandic myths and tales at the bonfire.
- Depending on the season, you might get to see the northern lights before going to bed.
Kuussuaq Camp
- When you wake up in the morning, we will make you a breakfast before doing one of your preferred activities.
- You could ride a mountain bike to the settlement of Tasiusaq, to get a firsthand experience of local communities, where you also can visit the sheep farm of Nuugaarsuk on they way. The bike ride is an experience in itself, as you will get to see the surrounding scenic mountains.
- Or maybe you rather want to explore the nearby forest plantation of Kuussuaq, which is one of the two plantation in Greenland. How about kayaking in the great lake of Tasermiut?
Boat transfer to Nanortalik
- After your stay in Kuussuaq, our captain will pick us up and transport you back to Nanortalik, where we will say our goodbyes and hope that we will see you again!
