Payment Requirement: Full payment is required at the time of booking. A reservation is only confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.
Confirmation Details: Upon booking, you will receive a ticket containing essential details, including meeting points and times, confirming your booking with Tasermiut Camp.
2. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by Customer: Customers may cancel their bookings, but a fixed fee of 20 USD per person applies to all cancellations. Refunds, minus the cancellation fee, will be issued upon request for cancellations made by the customer.
Cancellation by Tasermiut Camp: Tasermiut Camp reserves the right to cancel tours due to unforeseen circumstances, such as adverse weather or minimum guest requirements not being met. In such cases, customers will receive a full refund, including any cancellation fees.
Alternative Schedules: If Tasermiut Camp alters tour schedules due to unforeseen circumstances, customers will be offered alternative dates/times or a full refund.
3. Modifications to Bookings
Booking changes are subject to availability and may incur additional fees. Contact Tasermiut Camp’s customer support for assistance.
4. Participant Responsibilities
Arrival: Customers must arrive at the designated meeting point at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. Late arrivals may result in forfeiture of the tour without refund.
Health and Dietary Restrictions: Any health or dietary restrictions must be communicated to Tasermiut Camp at the time of booking.
Fitness Requirements: Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically capable of participating in all chosen activities. Each tour description provides specific requirements, if any.
5. Health and Safety
Safety Guidelines: All participants are expected to follow safety guidelines provided by Tasermiut Camp staff throughout the activity.
6. Liability Waiver
Assumption of Risk: By booking, participants agree to the following waiver:
In consideration of participation in Tasermiut Camp activities, I release and discharge Tasermiut Camp, its employees, guides, owners, and agents from all liability for any damage, injury, or loss to myself or my property during activities or excursions, including hiking, camping, boat trips, food tasting, and other guided tours in Greenland.
I acknowledge the inherent risks associated with these activities, including physical or psychological injury, temporary or permanent disability, death, property damage, or economic loss. I voluntarily assume all risks involved, including travel to and from activity locations.
Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and hold Tasermiut Camp harmless from any claims or damages arising from my participation. I am financially responsible for any medical treatment or expenses incurred. Tasermiut Camp does not provide health insurance, and I am responsible for arranging my own coverage.
Medical Authorization: In case of injury or incapacity, I authorize Tasermiut Camp to seek medical treatment on my behalf. I am financially responsible for any related expenses.
7. Insurance
It is recommended that participants obtain adequate travel insurance covering cancellations, health, and personal belongings for Tasermiut Camp tours.
8. Personal Belongings
Tasermiut Camp is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings. Customers are advised to keep valuables secure or leave them in a safe location.
9. Privacy Policy
Customer information will be managed in accordance with Tasermiut Camp’s Privacy Policy.
10. Force Majeure
Tasermiut Camp is not liable for failure or delays in fulfilling obligations due to circumstances beyond its control, including adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, pandemics, or cruise ship schedule changes.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms, including the Liability Waiver, are governed by the laws of Greenland. Any disputes arising out of this agreement will be resolved under Greenlandic jurisdiction.
12. Severability
If any provision in these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
13. Acceptance
By booking a tour with Tasermiut Camp, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions, including the Liability Waiver. Tasermiut Camp reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice.
