Job Title: Administrative Coordinator

Employment: Full-time or flexible, starting May 1, or later by agreement

Location: Qaqortoq, Greenland

Job Summary: We are looking for a highly organized and dedicated Administrative Coordinator to ensure the smooth operation of our company’s administrative functions. This pivotal role involves managing bookings and customer services, coordinating cruise ship excursions and boat operations, and overseeing basic economic tasks. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Greenlandic, excel at multitasking, and have a sharp eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Booking Management: Handle bookings efficiently through our booking system and emails to provide a seamless reservation experience. Offer timely and accurate information to our guests regarding their bookings, including reservation confirmation, payment processes, and responses to inquiries.

• Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service by promptly responding to client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a memorable and positive experience for all guests

• Cruise Ship Excursion Coordination: Organize, schedule, and manage details of cruise ship excursions in close cooperation with cruise ship shore excursion teams, coordinating operations on call days in Qaqortoq and Nanortalik.

• Boat Operations Coordination: Oversee boat schedules to match guest activities and staff availability, addressing operational issues quickly to maintain safety and guest satisfaction standards.

• Economic Tasks: Support bookkeeping tasks, manage invoices, process payments, and track financial transactions for office operations and guest services.


• Fluency in English and Greenlandic, both written and spoken.

• Proven experience in administrative roles, ideally within the tourism industry.

• Great organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks.

• Proficiency in booking systems and office software.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective guest and team interactions.

• Proactive problem-solving abilities, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
